The State Bank of India has invited online applications from eligible Indian Citizens for appointment as Probationary Officers (PO) (JMG-I) and Probationary Officers (Rural Business). The written examination will be held on 11th April 2010. The State Bank of India is 29th most reputable company in the world according to Forbes rating. In India, it is the largest bank with over 16000 branches and an asset base of $250 billion and $195 billion in deposits.
Probationary Officer (PO) : 2500 posts (SC-345,ST-372, OBC-621,UR-1162) (PH-136), Qualification : 60% (55% for SC/ST/PWD) aggregate marks in class XII or Diploma course after 10th standard AND 55% (50%) aggregate marks in Graduation irrespective of Pass Course or Honours Course, Age : 21-30 years as on 28/02/2010. Relaxation as per rules., Pay Scale : Rs.10000-18240/-
Probationary Officer (Rural Business) : 2000 posts (SC-300,ST-150, OBC-540,UR-1010) (PH-60), Qualification : Same as above, Age : 21-30 years as on 28/02/2010. Relaxation as per rules., Pay Scale : Rs.10000-18240/-
Application Fee : Rs.500/- (Rs.50/- for SC/ST/PWD). Candidates are required to go to any CBS Branch of State Bank of India and pay the amount of prescribes fees and get receipt from the branch.
